4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! Saturday morning, while Josh was biking and running, the kids and I went out to Nana and Papa's for cinnamon rolls (a Saturday morning tradition). When Josh was done with his workout we headed uptown for the festivities. We had so much fun last year, we were excited to go again.

The frog jumping contest.

Josh and Harper listening to the instructions of the game, while Lake is in lala land. :)

The frogs...and yes they are huge!

Lake calling for his frog. Harper is thinking the frogs are getting a little too close.

2 feet is much too close b/w her and the frog.

Harper wasn't a fan of the train ride, but loved it a few days later in Sully.

On the feriswheel.

Watching the parade with Nana and Papa.

Dancing!

Showing Papa her ouwies.

At the end of the parade the fire trucks sprayed water on the crowd, the kids loved it.

Josh's Aunt, Uncle and cousins were in town from Missouri, so we went to Mike and Vicki's for supper and sparklers Saturday night. Dan, Chablis, Landon and Chase also came for the night.

We ended the night on our deck with our neighbors and enjoyed the fireworks. The little ones were in bed, but Lake and Landon stayed up to watch the fireworks.

  2. the frogs were quite different than those that just jump in the pond and make Harper laugh. Looks like the kids had a GREAT 4th!
