Trip to Naples, Fla.

Last week we went to Naples, Florida with Mike, Vicki, Tyler and Whitney. We had a great time all together and many memories were made. Lake has been looking forward to this trip since Christmas, and was so excited that the time had finally come.

Waiting at the Des Moines airport to board our first flight.
He was so excited to ride on an airplane.
Harper was a "lap child."

Finally...they both took a nap on our 2nd flight.
but it didn't last long. :)
The house we stayed had a pool in the development that we could use.
Lake learning to dive.
Not too bad for his 1st try, he'll try anything once.
Harper and Papi enjoying the warm sunshine.
The 4 of us at Randy's Fish House, great place to eat.
First day at the ocean. It was pretty cold that we didn't last long, but long enough to bury Lake in the sand.
Helping Mimi in the kitchen
The boys went to a spring training game one afternoon, and wore themselves out. :)
A great picture of the 6 of us, except Harper spotted a cat during the picture session.
Hangin' with Uncly Ty.
Tired after an afternoon of swimming.
Lake and Aunt Wi.
Josh and I don't take many pics of just the two of us anymore, so I had to include it.Mimi and Harper.
Quite the pair.
This picture was taken outside of AleHouse, another great restaurant.
brotherly love
Lake loved the ants on the driveway.
We took a fanboat ride in the Everglades to look for alligators. We were amazed when we saw 51!
One of the many alligators.

Harper loved the water.

Jammie time with Papi.
Playing at the beach.
The second day at the beach was awesome!
Lake being burried again.

Making a turtle out of sand.

Harper taking a nap on the beach; very tempting for Lake.

We took a few outdoor toys along and had fun playing outside in the evening. Harper loves playing soccer.
When we were walking onto the place on the way home the pilot asked Lake if he wanted to see the cockpit, Lake was in his glory. :)
