State Fair

Josh and I went to the fair on Friday with the kids. We had a great time, and they both seemed to love every minute of it. We definately have two animal lovers. :)

Harper had just woken up from a nap when we walked into the cow barn, she wasn't quite sure what she was looking at/smelling/hearing.

Checkin out the pigs.

My what a big nose you have.

The next few pics are at the butterfly garden. This was very cool, and the kids loved it. Lake loves to try and catch butterflies at home, so when they just landed on him he was in heaven.

We had to keep telling him to not touch their wings. When we walked in there were 5,000 butterflies, but when we left only 4,998.

Even Harper got to touch a butterfly.

No Harper, you can't taste the butterfiles.

seriously...

The next few pictures were at Little Hands on the Farm. It was a very well done exhibit for younger kids.
Apron on and basket in hand.

Picking the vegetables.

Picking apples from the tree.

Fueling up the tractor, after giving away the soybeans.

(Lake) Milk comes from cow's udders.
(Josh) Yes it does, Lake.

Petting a baby goat.

That's my boy!
Lake loved the sky glider!

But, the giant slide is still the best. Josh and I took turns going down with Lake because it's so much fun.

Lake wanted to ride it by himself.

Let's do it again!

Harper could not take her eyes off of the clydesdale horses.
